How to:

1. Download file by right clicking the appropriate link above, then select 'Save target as...'.

2. Open file

3. Enable macros - under the tool bar at the top of the page or a pop-up, a button should display asking if you want to enable macros.

4. Orange boxes fire the macro when changed. If data doesn't update after an orange box change, macro is not enabled. Go to step 2.

5. Green boxes are for fine tuning; more on that soon.

First the Orange boxes:

Division and Year should be self-explanatory.

Benchmark drop-down list contains four choices:

Records - The current National Record for that division/event. All scores will be compared to the National Record.

TopScore - The top average score from the previous year's Ranking List. For now the only year used is 2013.

Standard1 - An adjustment to the Record scores to make the NOPS for the Trick event feel better compared to the other two events. Why? In general Trick scores are lower compared to the record for most division/events than Slalom or Jump scores. So the NOPS returned is noticeably lower than the NOPS for Slalom or Jump. In Standard1 the Trick record is reduced to bring Trick NOPS more in line with Slalom and Jump. Slalom and Jump benchmarks are the National records in most instances.

Standard2 - An adjustment to the Record scores, again to bring Trick NOPS more in line with the other events, determined by ranking each division/event against all others based on Ranking List scores and then blending the records/benchmarks to match that ranking. In this set of benchmarks some standards are still the National records. In other divisions/events any or all Records may be adjusted to bring a division/event in line with the rankings of all division/events.
